What is the difference between residential and commercial reverse osmosis?
Residential RO usually serves a drinking water faucet with modest storage. Commercial systems are designed for higher production, larger storage, delivery pumps, controls, pretreatment, and application-specific water quality.
How often should RO filters and membranes be replaced?
Replacement timing depends on feed-water quality, pretreatment, usage, and system performance. Filters are normally changed more frequently than membranes, and service should be based on condition and manufacturer guidance.
Why has my RO system slowed down?
Low pressure, clogged filters, membrane fouling, temperature, storage tank issues, pump problems, or changes in feed water can reduce production. Testing the system helps identify the actual cause.
Does every RO system need a water softener?
